I'm home from New York. I survived the cruise. I was only mildly embarrassed by my family. The cruise ship didn't sink. No one was thrown overboard. And I got some good shopping done in New York. :)
Now for the bad news. While I was away, my mom's ex-boyfriend was in town. I don't get along well with him anymore, and the energy was very off in my house when I came home. Thank goodness for my friends. They calmed me down, helped me burn some stuff, and made me feel a whole lot better. Now I have my friend staying the night over at my house, so I don't have to be scared of my bedroom anymore.
We're watching "How to Steal a Million," and we're happy as clams. We love Audrey Hepburn!
